Now that things have been able to settle down in the aftermath of the riots at Bajor's Spaceport, we've been able to discern some measure of information regarding the situation as it unfolded. The man who made an attempt to blow up or sabatoague the SS El-Auria is still within our brig pending the outcome of our investigation. Presently, there's no other option readily available as events on the surface may preemptively release him into the general population as inferred to me by the Bajoran Minister of Trade and Commerce.

With the visit concluded between Chancellor L'vralus and the Tzenkethi interim government, USS Jean-Luc Picard got underway. However, our trip to Betazed has been interrupted with the Alliance's most recent concern: the political discontent in the Beerax system. Now that our attention has been turned there, Chancellor L'vralus has decided to look into this matter at Beerax personally by making an unannounced visit in the system where he will be meeting with several key individuals. It is my home -- and his, too, I would assume -- that his familiarity with the people of Beerax will settle the malcontents.

Under the order of Chancellor L'vralus, USS Jean-Luc Picard, escorted by USS Defiant, has arrived in orbit of Ab-Tzenkethi. We are here for the Chancellor to visit and inspect the interim government of the Tzenkethi. So far, our mission has been uneventful. However, considering this was recently enemy territory, security will remain tight for the duration of our stay.

After an escort mission to accompany Chancellor L'vralus to inspect the damage to Deep Space 9 and meet with key members of the Bajor Sector Command, USS Jean-Luc Picard has returned to Spacedock. We were refueled while in the Bajor sector by the USS Grace Hopper. Other than needing a refuel while in space, the trip was quiet and we have returned without incident.

Refugees!

It appears WNO is down and ZC is currently on vacation.

Starr has been nice enough to activate a MUSH to use as a place to congregate until the game comes back online.

A few hours ago, a misaligned plasma conduit originating in the wardroom forced the evacuation of deck three so that the gases produced would be vented without further harm to ship and crew. Unfortunately, the gasses reached a level high enough to produce a mandatory evacuation of the entire deck before engineering crews were able to address the matter in EVA suits. It's still not known how the conduit became misaligned. I am hoping that Lieutenant Danek's teams can find the reason soon.

In the aftermath of the scuffle in Security, I wonder if there was not some measure of logic to the restrictions placed upon the crew for wartime situations. Or if it hints to underlying problems among many officers of my crew due to post war stress or an entirely different situation.

After an extended assignment away from dock at the behest of Chancellor L'vralus, USS Jean-Luc Picard returned to dock early this evening. We have aboard a passenger, "Commander" Milton Madison, with whom we have had contact in the past. I am recommending that he be transferred to the care of medical aboard Spacedock for psychiatric evaluation and check-up to determine the current state of his psychological disorders as documented by Dr. L'vralus and Dr. Sheffield during our original encounter with him aboard USS Enterprise.

We have arrived in orbit of - a site famous throughout history for events such as the Khitomer Conference, the first Federation-Klingon, and the Khitomer Massacre. Our mission has been to deliver Chancellor L'vralus to a high-priority meeting. The meeting was unscheduled, so we proceeded here with all due haste.

"Computer, begin recording."

With that, the video screens jumps to life and shows Kainon. He's in his civilian clothes and drinking a cup of coffee on the couch of his DS9 quarters.

"Fuck. This is a bitch. I never knew that administrative leave would be so hard on me. I know that I deserve everything that I got, but never knew it would be this bad." He takes a sip from his mug, this one has a DS9 logo on it, but he doesn't really seem to care at this point.
