An image flickers to life and Ael'Ihhuein is sitting in her personal quarters aboard Deep Space Nine. She's in her starfleet uniform and it's roughly day time. Her demeanor seems to have drastically shifted since her last personal log, she appears to have a great deal more confidence and a sincere satisfied look is upon her face. Scattered across her room appears to be various things, it's not normally as clean and organized as it would be.

Where does the counselor go for counseling?

Main Studio [CCV William Randolph Hearst CIC-45841]
This is a moderate-sized filming studio fitted into what appears to have been a holosuite. An array of lighting, sound, and holovideo recording equipment are positioned here for recording broadcasts. The default yellow grid is visible from the backstage angle, although the camera view is a stylish news anchor desk in front of a lovely space backdrop.

Princess Diaries: First Entry

Ms. Panny suggested I start a journal as a writing project for school. I'm not super thrilled about it. What kind of things do people write about anymore? It seems archaic.

The lockdown of the Kingdom of Eden and the fact that I seem to be locked out of all of the "fun" areas of the station anymore is really starting to get boring. One can only ride the roller coaster so many times.

Dear Diary: I wish I took PoliSci at the Academy

I am almost completely positive this isn't going well. I suppose the level of reluctantance was to be expected: why let yet another member world slip out of the Alliance? And, I suppose the verbal lashing I got from the Angelite was also to be expected: I can hardly say I have a good relationship with my native planet. Then again, does any man have a good relationship with Angel One?

*sigh*

Everything's fine... really.

"You know what really chaps my ass?" This Bajoran seems to be in a rather foul mood. More foul than normal. "The fact that we're sitting out here doing who knows what with who knows who. It's fucking ridiculous, really." A mug full of coffee, steaming from the rim and emblazened with the USS Excalibur logo. "Gimme that," *slurrrp* "This really does fucking suck. No one, other than the Commodore, is allowed to know."

After the hearing tonight in the Chambers of the Galaxy Alliance High Council regarding Beeraxi secession, a Starfleet escort was provided for Senator Pon of Trill who was making her way back to Spacedock from the planet below. During flight, the runabout U.S.S. Alabama suffered a propulsion systems failure and began to lose attitude control. The runabout fell into the atmosphere of Earth before attitude control was regained. Then, after stabilizing the ship and heading back towards Spacedock, control was once again lost and the runabout collided with Spacedock. The runabout suffered serious damage, but Spacedock was unharmed.

After an extended stay at space station Deep Space 9, USS Kyuushu has delivered Chancellor L'vralus back to Spacedock in the Sol system. Given that the chancellor is not expected out-of-system for the next several days, I am using this as an opportunity to offer the crew of Kyuushu some leave on the station and on Earth while a few minor post-launch systems diagnostics and routine maintenance are completed aboard ship by Spacedock's technicians.

Signed,

Aron E. Amadeus,
Captain, Starfleet Command
Commanding Officer, USS Kyuushu NCC-90004

USS Kyuushu remains docked at Deep Space 9. Originally, we traveled here so that the Chancellor could personally inspect the repairs to the station. However, since our arrival a Cardassian delegation has arrived, and I believe the Chancellor is content to stay in close proximity to the Minister of State until the situation with the Cardassian government is sufficiently settled.

I am using this opportunity to meet with several key officers from Deep Space 9 about the repairs to the station and current sector activities on behalf of the Chancellor.
