Personal Log Stardate 89304.25
The image flickers to show a young man half sitting, half slouching in a chair in what seems to be quarters aboard a starship. "Personal log Stardate 89304.25." He begins in a distinctly British accent and pauses for a few moments to look out at the stars to his left. "We've finally returned to familiar territory and the Indomitable has berthed back at Deep Space Nine."
The Galaxy Alliance Senate Committee on Foreign Relations - MINSTATE Confirmation Hearings Part 1
The Galaxy Alliance Senate takes up the confirmation hearings of Iante Riis, the Chancellor's choice for Minister of State. During the hearing, Iante is grilled on questions related to his proposed relationship with Starfleet, and whether he has the experience to serve as a diplomat in areas that are more peaceful than his previous assignments (Cardassia and Gorn). The meeting is cut short due to other caucuses, part two will be forthcoming.

Branch Admiral Aron Amadeus, reporting.
Following the solar flare eruption that seriously damaged the armor and hull of the Entropy, USS Tarawa has towed the ship to Utopia Planitia where the Starfleet Corps of Engineers can perform necessary maintenance to her hull. I am pleased to report that interior repairs, performed by the ship's own engineering crew, is progressing apace. Captain Ashmore and I expect the ship to be operational in no more than two weeks.
Personal Log, Stardate 84430.68
In my prayers, I ask the Ihhuein to guide me. I ask the Elements to give me guidance, wisdom and comfort. Yet Ihhuein remains silent in her guidance, even the unpredictable winds of Lhael would be a welcomed and much desired guide in these days. Yet the Ihhuein and Lhael do not answer.
I find that my guidance and comfort comes from Avilh. I find that Avilh gives me the inner peace and strength that I need to go on when Lhael and Ihhuein do not answer. Through fear and despair, Avilh remains strong. Avilh has been the support of my foundations.

*Audio Log only* Personal log, Stardate 83954.73: So much has transpired in the past few months and I am barely able to keep up with it all. mnhei'sahe has yet to be satisfied as Argelian tr'Khnialmnae still lives. I have contacted him under the pretense that I wish his assistance in ending the deaths of my rian who have made the same lifestyle choices that I have. I have told him that I placed blame upon the new Fvillha. He has agreed to meet with me, but has yet to show up.

Ael'Ihhuein finally begins to speak again, "There is nothing quite like the feeling of being impassioned. I wish that the Elements would be less inconstant with their directions. One moment the Elements do not speak to me and the next moment, I am nearly deafened by their shoves towards what my mnhei'sahe demands.

"Computer start recording." The mezzo-soprano voice says quietly, this personal log appears to be be audio only. Ael'Ihhuein finally begins to speak again, "Personal log, stardate 83638.19." She takes another breath and continues on to say, "It has become uncomfortably obvious that I must reevaluate my career ambitions." Her lips curl into a bit of a frown as a sigh escapes her throat, "A year ago, the path was so very clear and I had exact plans to achieve the ambitions I once had. There are now blocks in my path and I grow dissatisfied with the lack of focus I have with my career."
Lhael and Ihhuein
"Computer begin recording" A feminine mezzo-soprano voice says from a distance away from the terminal recording. The sound of shuffling as she walks over towards the terminal and finally settles down, the voice belongs to Ael'Ihhuein who is wearing a white terry-cloth robe and has dampened hair.
