"Computer begin recording" A feminine mezzo-soprano voice says from a distance away from the terminal recording. The sound of shuffling as she walks over towards the terminal and finally settles down, the voice belongs to Ael'Ihhuein who is wearing a white terry-cloth robe and has dampened hair.
Illy lets out a contented sigh as her elbows rest against the desk and she leans into the upward facing palms of her hands. She rests her chin upon her hands and stares off through the terminal as she speaks, "I feel as if I have spent more of my recent energy begging forgiveness than anything else." Her eyes slowly close and she breathes out quickly through her nose with an audible sigh, "Ambition is a strange is it not? Weighing the costs of things around you in order to gauge their worth towards a gamble of an end goal?" Her eyes open again slowly and she finally appears to be focused on the terminal recording her log.
"Rule of Acquisition number sixty-two states that the riskier the road, the greater the profit." She says idly as if it were something that had just come to her from a memory, "Argelian said that my Empire needed me." She interjects with a brand new thought, "He came all the way to Deep Space Nine, under the guise of a false name to tell me I meant something." She laughs under her breath, "I do not believe it in the least. Nor do I understand why anyone in support of tr'Aegis would consider speaking to a defector such as myself. It is a ruse of sorts." She shrugs, "It matters not at this time, he has left and I can continue on with my life as it…will be for now."
Illy picks up a t'Liss necklace on her desk and looks down towards it, "Lhael and Ihhuein." She focuses her attention towards the necklace and muses, "Air cannot be captured, confined, controlled but breaks all bonds, and flies off free." She sighs out and shakes her head, "If one cannot control the freedom and unpredictability of Lhael, how will Ihhuein ever keep up with it's eternal stillness… What if Lhael will never be stilled by Ihhuein's serenity?" She leans back in her chair and looks back up towards the terminal again, "The Ihhuein shall do as it always, be still, be patient and watch the passage of time. I have made my prayers and asked the Elements to guide me, but they are silent. It is as if they are forcing me to make this decision alone, fortunately I do not believe it is a decision that I shall be needing to make any time soon if at all. Perhaps I shall remain in the timelessness of this harmony that has no fear nor uncertainty."
She lifts her hand up and taps something, "Stop recording…"
