Another situation has come up that, the consequences of that situation may determine my decision to remain in Starfleet. Should the worst happen, I have already started to prepare myself for a civilian life. Miss Laurels has given me an exquisite vessel which I have named the mnhei'sahe and I am in the process of purchasing a home on Bajor.
I believe that I could have a fruitful life as a civilian, there is a career already in place and I am fortunate enough to have made more than enough money to make a life for myself and my e'lev should he ever decide to make a life with me.
