Capture the Flag is BACK!

If you're new to WNOHGB or looking to get back into polishing those sim skills, now's the time to go 'pro' by forming a 5-man team (4 starters, one alternate) for Caputre the Flag!

CTF games are governed by the Rules of CTF and will be scheduled as soon as we have a few teams formed. The game is played with eight ships, two flags, and two planets, and was a lot of fun during our first run.

If you're interested, form a team or @subscribe *ctf with n and send a mail to *CTF stating you'd like to join a team. We'll grab everyone's availability and do a game schedule. All CTF games take place in the OOC sims. Click on this message for more about the rules of CTF @ WNOHGB:

The RULES of CTF:

*Each team must be comprised of four starters and at least one alternate.
*Prior to gametime, the following information must be passed to the referee:
-Team Name
-Team Leader
-Team Members
-Sim Ships being used and what classes
-Team comm-channel
*Each game will be timed at 3 hours, with a halt-game at 1.5 hours to allow teams to reset ship
class/switch out a player for an alternate.
*After halftime, all ships restart at their respective home planets.
*If at any time a player bows out, and an alternate is not available, the team will suffer LOSS
within the League.
*If at any time a vessel cloaks, the team will suffer a LOSS within the League.
*Each team have AT LEAST one SMALL ship, and NO MORE than one CAPITAL ship.
*Capital ship classes are: Nebula-II, Galaxy-II
*Small ship classes are: Defiant, Dunkirk, Bretagne, Saber

*The Following vessels are ILLEGAL. Use of which will result in a LOSS for the team:
-Macross-Class Cruiser <#21>
-Sovereign-Class Heavy Battlecruiser <#65>
-Borg Cube <#17>
-Borg Sphere <#18>

Scoring:
1 point will be scored for every flag capture
.5 points will be scored for each kill.
-.5 points will be scored for each death.

*A CAPTURE is defined as tractoring the opposing team's flag to within >1 klik of your flag. If
your flag is in transit, you cannot score.
*A KILL is defined as the destruction of an opposing ship OR the @deactivation of a ship where you
are the last to strike it.
*Upon a KILL, the subject vessel MUST @activate at their home planet's coordinates.
*Each game must be referee'd by a wizard.
