The visual feed starts, showing the seated form of a Trill in his engineering uniform. Teral looks towards the little computer terminal doing the recording and starts

"So, an eventful day. Apart from someone not filing reports about attacks on the Kai of Bajor and his docking at the station for repairs, things you'd think it would be useful to inform the crew of, it was interesting for other reasons. His eminence, Kai Lishan, arrived at Operations during my shift. Having been attacked and put in for repairs, he wanted to know the status of his ship so he could return to his flock on Bajor. Thankfully the work was almost finished and so I was able to let him know it would just be a matter of finishing the external repairs."
"It was a relief to see him again and alive. I have only met him twice now, the first time just before the unfortunate incident on the Astraeus, but his peopel speak of him with reverent tones and when I was on bajor he was respected. I was also pleased to see him as it gave me a chance to give back to Bajor a little of the kindness it has shown me over the years, and I handed over a donation of 25,000 to the Bajoran Orphans fund. The Kai has left but something troubles me. Two attacks on him in a relativly short period, with the GA events going on. I am convinced now that the explosion on the Astraeus was no accident and have recommended notifying Starfleet Intelligence of the recent attack. It may be nothing but we are better safe than sorry, we do not need more political leaders dying. Not after what Qo'noS lead to."
