While the construction of the USS Kyuushu continues, I have been summoned, rather unexpectedly, to Spacedock to meet with the Chancellor of the Galaxy Alliance, Dr. Trent L'vralus. I have made my way there from Deep Space 9, and now I await the Chancellor's arrival.
On last report, the construction of the Kyuushu continues apace. The construction superintendent does not have a projected launch date as of yet, but I am eager to take the reigns of the new Nebula-III class starship and see just what the Corps of Engineers have been working with so feverishly over the past eighteen months. I anticipate a pleasant surprise.
As for my meeting with the Chancellor, I can only hope that it is good news.
