We have arrived in orbit of - a site famous throughout history for events such as the Khitomer Conference, the first Federation-Klingon, and the Khitomer Massacre. Our mission has been to deliver Chancellor L'vralus to a high-priority meeting. The meeting was unscheduled, so we proceeded here with all due haste.
After employing the Jean-Luc Picard for the past six months while we await the completion of NCC-90004 (USS KYUUSHU), I must admit that I have been pleased with her performance. Despite her being in hard service during mostly wartime conditions for the past 28 years, the Picard continues to serve admirably. I am pleased to say I had the opportunity to command a ship of this class.
We await the conclusion of the Chancellor's business before we continue.
