Captain's Log, Stardate: 78399.79

In the aftermath of the scuffle in Security, I wonder if there was not some measure of logic to the restrictions placed upon the crew for wartime situations. Or if it hints to underlying problems among many officers of my crew due to post war stress or an entirely different situation.

On reviewing the reports that have come in from the incident involving Misters Carson, O'Stack and Trinton point to the necessity of action being taken against the current Private. Regardless, I never find enjoyment in disciplining an officer. Especially in light of the fact that a transporter malfunction beamed in myself, a number of my senior staff and admiralty into Security without warning during the altercation.

What would cause him to attack a superior officer on top of the already present charges? I believe that it's time to ask our CMO about psychological reviews. While it may be earlier than planned, I want to be forewarned should any crewman have issues adjusting to the base or any other issue that would cause him to harm him or herself.
