Captain's Log, Stardate 79235.1.
After delivering Chancellor L'vralus to Station Alcatraz where he is meeting with key civilian political and economic leaders from Beerax, USS Jean-Luc Picard was returned to its permanent berth at Spacedock where she currently remains on stand-by status. Afterwards, I was treated to a tour of USS Kyuushu NCC-90004, which I am slated to command once final testing has been completed. I was also given the privilege of inspecting USS Ariake, the yacht that will be attached to Kyuushu upon her completion.
While awaiting the completion of USS Kyuushu, I took the opportunity to check in with Captain Walters aboard USS Akagi, examinine the progress of Deep Space 9 and the status of Bajor on behalf of the Chancellor. For now, I have been afforded the luxury of staying aboard the Kyuushu while final tests are conducted at Utopia Planetia. I await word from the Chancellor regarding his status.
