A Wiki is coming WikiWiki

Randal has been working really hard on code, but he's also been pulling double-duty as our web guy. A wiki is really necessary for putting our game's information here on the website, so we're not only going to produce one for players, but it'll be tied to your website registration, so register now in order to gain access to the wiki later on. Once we have the information logged in the database, it'll be easy to simply turn on wiki access for your account.

What about my alt? you might ask me. Register a separate account for your alt, using a different email address, in order to maintain the first rule of 'news alts' in-game. If you have any questions, please post them here on the website by clicking Add New Comment.

Forums go bye-bye!

We've disabled the forums here on the website. With the game online and as we're using the discussion mailing lists in-game, forums seemed redundant.

Welcome our newest Administrators!

Please give a warm welcome to new wizard, Daystrom (Codewizard), and new royal, Nix (Independents)!

Capture the Flag is BACK!

Simmers:

If you're new to WNOHGB or looking to get back into polishing those sim skills, now's the time to go 'pro' by forming a 5-man team (4 starters, one alternate) for Caputre the Flag!

CTF games are governed by the Rules of CTF and will be scheduled as soon as we have a few teams formed. The game is played with eight ships, two flags, and two planets, and was a lot of fun during our first run.

If you're interested, form a team or @subscribe *ctf with n and send a mail to *CTF stating you'd like to join a team. We'll grab everyone's availability and do a game schedule. All CTF games take place in the OOC sims. Click on this message for more about the rules of CTF @ WNOHGB:

WNO making a comeback?

With the large number of players returning, it seems like WNOHGB is coming back. Yes, you heard right. We're hosting a discussion on the game. If you've forgotten your player name and password, kindly see one of the wizards on the game, or send to *Requests with your information. Welcome back! RP is already happening!

Server is online!

Just for giggles and nostalgia, I've put the ol' core back online. It's running at game.wnohgb.org 1701, so blow the dust off of that MU* client of yours and see if you remember your password. As with an unattended pool, no admins are manning the lifeguard tower, so play at your own risk. You can PM me in the forums if you need a password change, but you need to prove ownership by remembering the email address you had back then.

We're Back!

After GoDaddy tried to shut us down, we moved to a new (temporary) server! We're back online and so are the forums, so feel free to use them to get back in touch with your favorite WNOHGBers.

The Quarterdeck Breed: Another New Short!

The sixth installment of The Quarterdeck Breed, entitled "Farragut" has been posted and is available for reading over at the HopeStation.net Repository. Captain Krystine Leone and the crew of the Nebula-class starship USS Farragut race to Wolf 359 to join the fleet and face down the Borg cube. Will they make it in time?

The Quarterdeck Breed: New Short!

The latest installment of The Quarterdeck Breed has been published over at the HopeStation.net Repository. The story centers around the decommissioning of an old Ambassador-class starship that fought hard during the Dominion War. It's not as long as some of the other stories, but I had a lot of fun writing, nonetheless. Check it out, and if you can, leave a review for me and tell me what you thought of it.
